The Ideal File

Ideally, the file will be one that has been used by the typesetter when creating the book. Some examples are as follows:

• PageMaker
• InDesign
• Quark
• RTF
• Graphics for illustrations, emblems, logos, or cover art, etc. (.jpg format is preferred)

Other Usable Files

Though less ideal, Logos can work with files that are able to be edited. Examples:

• DOC
• More...?

Unusable files

The follow types of files contain little-to-no value to Logos:

• PDF*
• Graphics of entire pages

*Note: The only time that PDF is appropriate to send to us is when no printed copy of the book is accessible. PDF then takes the place of a print copy.
